With the opioid crisis still has deadly as ever, Indiana’s chief data officer has begun a collective effort to track and interpret opioid statistics. “Before, everything was always in the rear-view mirror,” says Terry Cook, assistant director of Indiana’s Division of Mental Health and Addiction. “We needed a large-scale view of what’s going on now.”
This innovative approach is just another example of the important collective effort we believe is necessary to succeed against addiction.
